Our department invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor to begin August 2003. The search is open to all areas of astrophysics. We are particularly interested in candidates working in high-energy, instrumental, theoretical, or extragalactic observational astrophysics.

The APS department is affiliated with several research institutes and centers (JILA, CASA, LASP) and offers a diverse set of resources for teaching and research, including access to theoretical, observational, and instrumental facilities. CU is a consortium member of the ARC 3.5-meter telescope at Apache Point Observatory. The position requires a commitment to teaching in our undergraduate and graduate programs and the ability to develop and conduct an independent research program.
