The Department of Physics and Astronomy invites applications for a tenure-track
Assistant Professorship to begin in August 2003. We are seeking candidates with
postdoc experience who will complement our current faculty. A successful
candidate must demonstrate an ability to attract external funding. Candidates
must be committed to high quality teaching at all undergraduate levels and
demonstrate how they can involve undergraduates in their research efforts.
Applicants should submit a letter of application addressing their teaching
experience and proposed research program and a vita, including the names of at
least three scientists familiar with the applicants work. This material should
